Thank you for praying for our school and our staff, students, and families today!
Here are things that because of our mission and school ideals are always on our prayer list:
Please pray that staff will be effective in communicating God's love for each child to each child today.
Pray that children will have receptive hearts to hear and understand the message of God's love for them.
Please pray for our efforts to teach Biblical ways of understanding and doing life: again, that staff would be effective communicators, and that students would be receptive hearers.
Pray for academic instruction across the day.
Please pray for our parents as they strive to raise their children in a challenging world.
Pray for the hearts of our students, that they would be inspired to fall in love with things that are true, noble, righteous, honorable, healthy, excellent, and beautiful.
Pray for our students, (especially, perhaps, our teens) that they might be confident in their faith and courageous in their character to stand firm for the Lord in a challenging world. Pray that they would see through cultural distractions and find their abundance in life in Christ.
Pray for provision for our parents, who in many, many cases are really stretching their finances to have their children receive a Christian education.
Pray for financial provision for our school. Because our goal is to provide the opportunity for Christian education to families regardless of ability to pay, we need help every year raising money for need-based scholarships for our families who need help.
Please pray for staff well-being today, that each would stay firm and grounded in their own individual relationships with the Lord, for strength of mind and body and spirit to work effectively with the students today, for the needs of their own families, and our effectiveness as teachers, mentors, supporters, and helpers.
Pray for God's Spirit to move in mighty ways in our school today: to heal sickness; to minister to discouragement, anxiety, or fear; to foster strong and kind relationships; to convict of wrong; to provide grace to forgive; to unite us as an affirming, encouraging school community; and to inspire good stewardship and aspirations toward excellence in Christian living, learning, growing, and caring for others.
And in our current life at school, we would also be grateful for prayer for these requests:
This list updated 04.26.16:

Lots of field trips and other end-of the -year events approaching! Please pray for all the planning and for good learning and class camaraderie with field trips.
Please pray for the preparations for our upcoming trap Shoot May 15, and that the Lord would abundantly provide for the school's financial needs through the end of the year.
Students are working diligently on big projects. Pray for their ability to keep everything in order and get everything done - that each would be developing their stewardship well.
Please pray for the board as they make decisions regarding school leadership for next year. Pray for new teachers who will be needed for next school year.
Please continue top pray for powerful work by the Holy Spirit in the 5 weeks of school remaining this year - we're hoping for significant spiritual growth and a strong finish to the year!
